Artist Kourtney Hope grew up in Oliver, BC, where the majority of her childhood was spent creating art on whatever blank canvas she could find.  She creates one-of-a-kind art pieces specializing in pet and wildlife portraits by using soft pastels layered into 400 grit sanded paper.
