Luke is inspired by the healing power of herbs and the sustainability of locally grown and handmade organic products. He trained for four years to obtain his certification as a Herbalist, studying in the areas of herbal product making, botany, nutritional supplements, plant identification, wild crafting and the organic growing of herbs.

He has been making organic herbal body care, aromatherapy, and household and pet products by hand for 20 years. His commitment to a ‘Ground to Jar’ philosophy means that he grows organically and he sources through ethical wild harvesting and by supporting other local organic growers. He processes the herbs into healing oils and extracts within 24 hours of harvesting to ensure the maximum medicinal constituents are preserved and incorporates them into all of the products he makes. The essential oils he uses are steam distilled and not fragrance oils. All of his products are paraben, laurel sulphate and propylene free. He does not use any petroleum, or animal by-products (or testing). He does not use any commercial kits, moulds, dealers or agents.

Luke’s products are made the true artisan way; He grows, formulates, and hand makes all of his products in small lots, without the aid of any commercial base products such as lotions, melt-and-pour soap or bubble baths.
