Knotty Wood began in a small garage in south Calgary.  My partner had a great passion for wood and woodworking and imparted the passion to me.  I began working with wood and epoxy in the shop and loved that I could add colour to the wood, but not change the natural beauty that Mother Nature had created.  I realized I could save great pieces of salvage wood and create truly one-of-a-kind pieces.  Today I work with various arborists and tree salvage yards to bring new life to some amazing wood and turn them into modern woodworking pieces that anyone can enjoy. – Bonnie Adams
