Anne-Claire’s paper-cutting poetry is entirely designed and hand cut by her in her studio in Calgary. She is inspired by nature, movement, energy, colours, and patterns. She chooses acid-free papers, draws her own personal patterns on the back, and then cuts them with meticulous care with a scalpel (Exacto knife). It takes hours to see the magic happen, and slowly the paper becomes a real lace.  She works with a professional framer and/or she frames them herself.
Some pieces can also be bought unframed so that the buyer can customize them.
