Our four-day event is held at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Our 39th year will be held from November 20 to 23, 2025.

With 38 years under our belt, Art Market has an amazing following. We continue each year to work on brand awareness and to find new ways to bring Art to the forefront in Calgary, partnering with different groups including but not limited to the Made in Alberta Awards, Theatre Calgary, Pattison Outdoor Advertising, McCarthy Tetrault, Milestones & Teatro Ristorante.

We offer a discounted ticket price (for a limited time) and a free re-entry pass for our customers so they can enjoy the show every day for one low cost. It is a busy four days! Each accepted artisan receives 10 free passes to give out for contesting and to help in creating or growing a client base. We have live onsite video segments, social media, billboards, TV and radio commercials, empty and goods storage, power, table and chair are all included in your booth price and more!

Art Market is open to Canadian art and craft, professional and emerging. All applications are subject to a jury process, as we pride ourselves on only accepting the highest quality work that Canada has to offer. We offer discounted shipping to/from Ayr, Ontario, the Circle Craft show in Vancouver and/or the One of A Kind show in Toronto.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Applications are accepted as of January 1st and close April 1st. Apply early, as some categories sell out quickly and to ensure your booth placement request. Booth assignment takes place April 1st – 15th. Notifications of standing will be sent between April 1st – May 1st. The completeness of your application is a consideration in the jury process. Make sure you have ample description of your work and clear, precise photos.

Art Market has established a reputation as an excellent marketplace for high quality art and craft.

The 2025 sale features artisans from across Canada exhibiting over four days in Calgary, Alberta. Space has been reserved for new exhibitors. Art Market is searching for talented artisans to participate in this year’s event.

PROMOTION:

A substantial promotions budget projects excellent saturation of the Calgary and area market. Television, radio, billboards, street advertising, direct mail and email are all encompassed in the advertising campaign. Media representatives receive special attention. The admission fee to the public is $15.00. Anticipated attendance is 15,000 based on previous years’ experience. The Calgary Telus Convention Centre has underground parking and is on the city’s rapid transit line.


LODGING:

With advance planning, accommodation can be secured in the $120.00 to $280.00 range. A block booking will be made at a moderately priced hotel with different level of price options.

PAYMENT:

If not accepted, your deposit will be refunded in full. If accepted and you choose not to participate, you will forfeit your deposit. Once accepted, you will receive a contract and request for payment via etransfer or post dated cheque for booth payment. Art Market offers a three month payment plan or accepts full booth payment.

ELIGIBILITY:

Art Market is open only to Canadian art and craft. All applicants will be submitted to a jury process. Considerations for acceptance include originality, marketability, quality, uniqueness to the Calgary marketplace, and overall exhibition balance. Commercial kits, molds, dealers or agents are not acceptable. No more than two media per booth is permitted. All articles to be offered for sale must be approved. The applicant must be the creator. If accepted to Art Market, you cannot participate in another Calgary craft sale on the same dates without prior approval.


APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The completeness of your application is a consideration in the jury process:

  • Completed Application Form and detailed Declaration of Authenticity describing process
  • $200.00 deposit payable to Art Market 2162628 Inc.
  • Five printed photographs that are representative of the work to be sold.
  • Corresponding retail price list.
  • Maximum of five digital images saved at 300 dpi suitable for publication that will not be returned.
  • One photograph or digital image of yourself at work in your studio.
