Art Market has always been run by a group of family and friends, a group of people who love, admire, and celebrate art and craft in their everyday lives, so it really works. From greeting and taking your tickets to the shipping and moving artists in, from the website and social channels to the creation of commercials and billboards, it’s all family. The coming together each year brings an excitement that makes for an electric week.
Nichole
Art Market has always been in Nichole’s blood. As part of the team in the early years, she pushed carts, took cash, and yes, supplied our loyal customers with their re-entry passes. After raising a family, going to school, and running a few businesses, it was no surprise in 2014 when Nichole returned to the fold and joined the Art Market management team. She brought her enthusiasm and appreciation of fine art and craft to the table – Art Market Take 2.
In taking over Art Market in 2020, she believed in continuing the legacy of art and craft and serving both the consumers and the artisan community. Being with the show now for eight years, she continues to move the company forward in supporting the legacy and foundation that the show was built on.
Michelle
Michelle, like Nichole, has been a part of the Art Market team off and on over the past 20 years. Her love of art and craft and being a part of the team and the craziness it takes to put on the show is an excitement that she knew she wanted to take a bigger role in. Michelle has been responsible for the Social Media side of the show for the past five years and with her children now older, has recently added the role of Production Assistant to her title.
Sheila
After many years of hearing Nichole’s excitement about her job, Sheila joined the team. Sheila has been tackling the shipping side of things for Art Market for the past seven years, but she really does have her hands in everything. As the Front End Manager, she ensures that both customers and artists are being taken care. She enjoys meeting and greeting the artists and the fabulous customers as they are coming to shop for treasures.
